Ever seen or heard of a diesel powered TJ?

I don't think the diesel bros are bothered by things that are loud, smokey, stinky, or heavy.

I like diesels and have a GMC 3500 chassis cab with a 4BT swap. It works well in that truck for its purpose. BUT, it is heavy, loud, vibrates and smokes alot. There is no question in my mind that it would be terrible in a daily driven TJ or trail rig.

FIFY.

It weighs about the same as a GMC 305 V6, which I find curious.

I know you are a fan of analog stuff and a 4BT is that in a very in your face way. It would be a good post-EMP motor as it takes like 3 wires and cooking oil to run it.

Will this post-EMP utopia a lot of guys fantasize about have functioning fast food restaurants with deep fat friers to harvest used cooking oil from?

If you insist upon infusing a fanciful discussion with logic, its just gonna wreck everything.

In my utopian fantasy, we will live in a world centered around the surviving fast food industry where we work together to keep the deep fat friers alive like cattle in order to power the world's diesel engines.

Good. I was thinking if the world is ending, I might finally try a Big Mac or Whopper, maybe some Popeyes chicken but that's living dangerously, so maybe I can see what the hell people keep fighting over. I'm guessing I'll be disappointed.

The Burger King will seize control of all the resources and will lead us to into the new future.

I'm holding out for a D6600, it weighs in at 3,260lbs!

I'm not sure you have enough wheelbase for everything that would be required .
