Air Chuck advise

Wondering if anyone uses something like this to fill there tires. I am jut getting tired of using the standard air chuck that you have to hold on the tires while they fill up then checking pressure and repeat. I am wanting to get ta a min. a chuck that locks on to the valve to use with my OBA system.

Some inflation tools that look similar to the one pictured can provide relatively accurate static pressure readings when the trigger isn't being pulled, but I don't think any of them will give accurate readings while the compressor is pumping air into the tire due to the pulses from the piston in the compressor.

My current arrangement is a 25' Flexzilla 1/4" air hose with clip-on flow-through chuck and a separate pressure gauge similar to the photos below. I can usually guess whether the tires are sufficiently inflated within a pound or two by paying attention to inflation time.

I just bought this Milton 518 a few days ago. So far I am pretty happy with it. I like the lock-on chuck and the deflator button. It works as a stand alone tire gauge when unplugged if I plug the air fitting with my thumb.

This is the clip-on style I use, it screws onto standard size air lines. It works well and has never caused any problems. I bought mine locally but Amazon is convenient.

I have a Power Tank inflater. Clip on chuck, bleeder valve and a liquid filled dial gauge.
I didn't like the idea of dealing with dead batteries, or worse, a corroded battery.

Milton is top quality, not chicom junk. It will last through your grand kids if you take care of it. There is a reason that professional tire shops use milton.

I'm not sure where my clip-on air chuck like in my above link is from but it is nearly 20 years old and doing fine.
