Looking forward to this trip! Have my hotel in Denver booked. Just dropped the Jeep off at the shop this morning to have them give it a look over / oil change / tire repair. My steering armor / surfboard / mini skid never arrived but I think I’ll be fine.

Anyways, for fun, here is a JL I parked next to at the shop this morning. Looks standard, but it actually has an LS3 under the hood.

I measured my flare height, it's 37". That's a huge tire, and it seems a lot of the hardcore JK/JL folks are going to 40s.

I dont think my kids are going on this one, so if he gets intimidated by the sign at the trailhead he can ride along with me and my wife!

I think I might bail out on Cleveland. Still gotta drive the Jeep to Wyoming and back to Illinois! Seems like that one might just be a winch fest. Considering it is a 3 day weekend, there might be some entertainment on Cleveland from other groups.
