California NorCal Jeep adventures!

Bear Valley road will add 20 minutes to my drive time vs. Leesville road, but I've never been on Leesville road, so who knows if Goggle is right. I can clip along pretty good on Bear valley road if it is in as good of shape as it was last time I took it (think World Rally Championship driving brah!), so I guess I'll sleep on it, flip a coin and start the adventure!

A day of adventure was had. @Thunderhead and I Departed the General Store in Stonyford and headed up the mountain to explore. Weather was fantastic, but a bit sad to see all the devastation from the fires. Goat mountain looked like a bomb went off on it, as was a lot of other areas along the way.

Looks great! My notifications have been so inconsistent with this thread but it’s moving weekend so wouldn’t have been able to go anyway. Blah.

Need to get out with you guys again I miss it since Death Valley, my first quarter of the year has so much going on.

Thanks Jim for bring the trail boss. From Bear Creek, the m3 is burnt out all the way to West Crocket. I hit some small patches of snow which I got through a few feet at a time. The M3 road is marked well , I stopped off at lower nye and west crocket and ......If you can find it Mox camp

West Crocket is a good place to camp. Camped there many times with the horses to go into the Snow Mountain Wilderness area.

Well 2 things Jeeples, my 4WD light is on in 2WD, off in 4-H and back on in 4-L. After some googling i ordered the
NV241OR Transfer Case Switch, now should I take my console apart to get at it from the top or try going in from below ????
Any who, #2 The wife and I will be in Fort Bragg this weekend for some R&R if anyone is in the area....

Do you know where the switch is located on the TC? If you think you can access it from the console side, then it's easier to remove the console than it is to drop the t-case skid.
Gonna miss you by a week. We are planning a trip up to Union Landing the 14th weekend.
