Arizona Wheelin

My thoughts too. It may be the KO2, don’t really know. It’s a Load C. KM3 next time?
Maybe. Not sure what I’m going to get next but I can tell you it will be bigger 😎 thinking about MTRs but haven’t gone into full obsession research mode on tires yet since these still have tons of life left

Elvis Trail:
Today I conquered an obstacle that I have bypassed many times! I’ll start with the obstacle. My dad is on the bottom and is 6’1 for reference

What’s amazing is how so many places around me look like that. I go driving on the back roads out here and there’s so many spots you could wheel if you just drove off the highway 🤣

That trail is pretty much a stone's throw away from your place.

I really have no excuse now. Think I could navigate it stock?
Box Canyon is right there too if you’re looking for a nearby trail. You shouldn’t have any problems there while stock. There is a big waterfall on the north end but there are several ways to bypass it. I have a .gpx of the route we took if you’re interested. Part of the trail crosses State Trust Land, which requires a permit ($20 for an annual family permit).

The box canyon trail would be great stock. Funny story it’s actually the trail that got me addicted to rock crawling. Here’s that waterfall @nk24 is talking about in box canyon. I was all stock except for 2” springs and some 31” MTs. It looks so small now that I look back on it but I couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks after 😂

Sure, I'd love to see that .gpx. You can actually post it here if you want, as the forum lets you upload .gpx files.

I've got that on my list to get the State Trust Land permit. My neighbors were telling me about Box Canyon, that they take their CanAm Maverick out there all the time.

There are several different routes to bypass the waterfall, this just happens to be the one we took. It is the route shown in the Wells book, which includes nine other trails mapped right in the Florence area.

I guess I don't have an excuse now.

Good driving.

Some of my favorite commentary,

"You're good....well, maybe not so good." 🤣

BANG...."That's what rock sliders are for."

"Oh, you're kinda committed now." 🤣

"Don't back up!"

"Just a scratch."

Do you think 35's will take you just about anywhere? I'm still on the fence.

Hahaha yeah his spotting is amazing. And actually no. There are a lot of buggy lines I wouldn’t attempt yet

Looks like some awesome trips with your Dad! Minus the soft top, his Jeep is my twin.
