Spotted an imposter today

I was getting ready to pull out of ACE when what appeared to be a silver TJ Rubicon passed the parking lot entrance in front of me. What was odd was that I realized there was no driver in the seat, and then realized again that it was a RHD TJ, and realized AGAIN that Jeep never made an export Rubicon. Which means his stickers were imposters

RHD Jeeps were sold in the US, mainly for use as postal vehicles. Would any of those have been able to have had the Rubicon package added?

I think Rural carriers are required to purchase their own vehicle, and they get money in addition to their pay to purchase.

Laughing at a Rubi-Con vs lighting your hair on fire because others are laughing at a Rubi-Con ... not much going on in the Head Lice household, eh?

It is possible that the original hood was damaged and the owner got lucky enough to find a used hood of the same color at decent price and maybe was afraid to remove the letters in case the sun faded the paint and it would still say Rubicon.

For the record, I admit possible doesn't equal probable, especially with silver paint.

So what other models were not for export in RHD? I have seen a TJ Rubicon advertised in Australia so must have been a Rubi-con? There are plenty of RHD JK Rubicons in Australia. My brother has a 2010 .

I'm curious to know the market in the first place. Based on most of the Australian based YouTube channel guys I've seen online (you probably know the names) it's not very popular.

We didn't get much choice in terms of options here in Aus, we basically just got Sport TJ's (and the Renegade/65th anniversary edition and all those special editions that are basically Sports). And every TJ sold in Aus came with the 4.0 and a Dana 44 rear. Definitely no rubicon TJ's here, but they did sell the JK rubicons here.

Loads of JK Rubicon's very popular in Aus but Jeep re badged certain models for export. Take for instance the KJ Liberty in Aus and Europe it was badged as a Jeep Cherokee because Subaru had a Liberty Wagon so both the Liberty and Grand Cherokee were Badged Cherokees here.
Toyota has a Landcruiser Sahara model in Australia so we couldn't have a Jeep Sahara so the Renegade gets the Sahara specs I am pretty sure?

There are a few RHD Rubicon mail Jeeps around here. The rural carriers have to convert the steering.
