If they are out of balance on the way home, the tires likely have spun on the rims. That little bit of continual pain is the only reason I ever went to beadlocks.

One thing to look for when buying rims is if they powder coated the air side under the tire. That lets the bead get pushed off very easily.
Mine definitely was, it’s just like the steelie’s bead popping on Garrett’s, at the time of purchase I didn’t know better and wasn’t smart enough to ask.

My powder coated inside wheels came with a full set of Patagonias. Beat that!
