Will do. I should get that in the works before the inflation prices get worse!

Some of the Dorman pan reviews have complaints of the drain plug leaking with the supplied brass gasket for the plug. When I installed mine, I replaced the brass gasket with this plastic one from Dorman (as others suggested in the reviews) and have had zero leaks.

Ok, both the pan and the plastic gasket on the list. I bought this pan for my sons 2005. His brass gasket worked fine.

They don’t have transmission coolers. Does the B&M 70264 cooler have everything I need to hook it up after the radiator?

I had used those style gaskets before and never had a problem, so I just used it from the get go to hopefully avoid the ones the reviews had.

I have the B&M 70264 in my grille. From my memory it had everything, except a little extra work to mount in on the V support.

Not sure if you had seen this, but this is what I did.

I have now! Tight quarters to work in. Thanks. I’m putting a radiator in, so I think I’ll at least mount the cooler when I remove the stock radiator so I have more room. Then I can figure out how to mount the lines.

@mrblaine, regarding the transmission cooler mounted in front of the radiator, you mentioned a custom stainless fitting you make that makes the routing as clean as possible. Not sure if I can get one or not. Also interested in drop shipping a Dorman transmission pan with drain plug to you and having the bung brazed in.

“I make a custom stainless fitting that is a bit longer to the 90 degree bend from the cooler port adapter that has a slight kink in the down leg to get it out that side as cleanly and easily as possible. I've tried several combinations of off the shelf fittings and nothing works very well.“

I need some specialty tools for the electrical. These are the Mopar numbers. Anyone have any good recommendations for wiring/terminal kits?

Get yourself a pair of 10x optivisors and a set of Wiha or WERA small screwdrivers

https://www.wihatools.com/products/precision-slotted-phillips-screwdrivers-7-piece-set

The screwdrivers are all you need to pop the terminals out of the housing. There is a little locking tab that holds the terminal. after you get the secondary locks and seals removed, use the screwdriver to lift the locking tab and pull your wire out. The optivisor is so you can see!

Yes, you can get one. It looks like this which routes off of the lower port on the right side of the Setrab Slimline Race cooler mounted low in the grill. You can see by the shape of the fitting that it would take an oddball combination of parts to get the two ends where they are. They are made from high quality stainless steel hydraulic seamless tubing with stainless tube nut, stainless tube sleeve, and a stainless adapter silver brazed onto the end.

I also have much cheaper Setrab 22mm ORB x -6 male adapters for the ports on the cooler. Mine are about 10 bucks each. Setrabs are more than double that.

It puts the male end sticking just far enough out of the hole in the grill that you can get an AN fitting on it and tighten it with 2 wrenches.

Send away on the pan, we do them at least weekly.

It even has the orange pointer, mine doesn't
