3/4 link software

Hopefully my engineering degree will comprehend 3/4-link software for an upcoming mid-arm custom build around JK axles. Plan on pushing the front axle forward roughly 2" and rear by 5". Is this a good start for software (it's an excel spreadsheet) or have most bit the bullet and coughed up the $100 for other programs?

I use to use that all the time for setting up RC crawlers, it did great. I have seen others use it to set their suspensions up on full size rigs. Even Ian from the show FourWheeler uses it for the vehicles he builds on the show.
