Now that I think about it once you move to AZ you're paying sales tax again. Do they collect there for all orders or is it like CA where the company needs a physical address in the state?

I can just have everything sent to my mom in Portland (the big stuff at least) and she'll forward it onto me. She works for a job that does massive amounts of shipping, so she can ship just about anything via UPS for me for free.

Then I can avoid sales tax too

Naaa, I had it sent to my mom's house in Portland, that way if it came while I was gone, she could just send it to me.

I ordered the complete front bumper and the taillights. I should have ordered the rear, which I regret not doing. I'll order that along with the modular under armor for the tuck.

I’m considering switching my trail tails for their lights simple for the OEM look. The TT I have are extremely bright though.

I had their taillights on my last TJ and really liked them due to the fact that they much more flush with the body. I never liked how far the stock taillight units stick out.

Well, potentially good news. I got a shipment notice from Savvy today for the bumper and taillights. Of course who knows if they'll ship it (or if they just printed the label) anytime soon, but at least it's progress.

The more I think about your build And the local trails the more I think I would suggest building for 33s and a tuck. With that combo you could do 95% of trails around here. I’m not sure you would enjoy anything smaller than 33s as most of the trails involve some degree of crawling up rocks around here whether it’s extreme or not. Especially in Florence. Could always go 10.5 tires to make it more streetable although I really enjoy my 33X12.5s

Honestly, I'm trying to keep the build focused around a 265 tire. I'm just not sure I need 285s (33s) for my intended use for the Jeep. I mean I like the look, I just don't know if I need it this time around.

Yes, I have that to think about as well! Once we move on June 6th and get settled in, I'll start thinking more about what I want to do at that point for sure. A tuck is in the plans, if that ends up involving another mid-arm, then so be it!

Haha, well, we'll see. Having good wheeling spots at my doorstep is a lot different than being up here in Oregon, where there's nothing nearby, and the stuff that is a drive away isn't really worth it. I also don't like wheeling in the wet, soggy, mud, and that's most of what we have up here.

I can certainly see you enjoying the jeep a lot more with more places to go and better weather to do it in. Might help slow down that mod bug you have a little. Can't wheel it if it's always in the shop torn apart.

You'll miss the wet soggy mud at some point. But I am jealous and wish I'd moved down there 10 years ago when I was lookin.
