Yep, seems like a very cost effective solution. All the nice LED headlights are more than I feel like spending. These should do the trick nicely.

My LED headlights aren’t pretty. BUT I really like the light so I deal with ugly.
I want to get rid of the dumb lightbar on the windshield the PO put on, but afraid to break bolts and I’m sure the windshield frame is fawked from the brackets.
I like the direction, I think you will have more fun in a mild Jeep. It’s why I’m doing this one mild, all my other builds just get out of control. I blame forums. Lol

My ProComp headlights are just as nice looking as $700 JW speaker. I’ve compared them both side by side.
You've given me something else I have to do to my Jeep now. I didnt want to spend big bucks on headlights since mine is not driven on the road much. I like the Cibie solution.
I should come up so you can see mine - very cost effective and a razor sharp cut off.

For the price, it's hard to say no. Cheap, effective, and it solves my issue of hating too many of the aftermarket LED headlights due to the look. Most of them don't look like they belong on an older vehicle.
That is why I like the Hella E code housings. Stock look, nice cutoff, and pair them with some Phillips Extreme Vision +130 H4's, plus the Harness upgrade. I mounted the relays on the front of the distribution box. Fits perfect, and has well built pigtails.
I had some LED lights that were copies of the Truck lights, thate were no better than the stock lamps. So I got these Hella lamps that run H4 bulbs:You can't, the stock housings are sealed.

Cheap, allows me to run a real H4, E-code headlights, and won't look too ricer.

I've since installed KSuspension's upgraded headlight harness, and have these bulbs showing up tomorrow:

My Cibie E-codes are so effective I'm planning the same upgrade on my motorhome. It uses 7" sealed beams as well.
Just out of curiosity, have you compared them to LED of any sort?
I do like the idea that if a bulb burns out I can easily replace it, whereas with an LED it would mean entirely new headlights.
I can't compare to LED, as I've not driven a vehicle with them. I do have HID projectors in my Audi, and the lights on my Jeep are as good, in color, cutoff, and distance (IMHO). The projectors in my 17 Colorado aren't any better than the Jeep either.
The nice thing that LEDs have going for them is the lower current draw. It doesn't require a new wiring harness on your vehicle to eliminate voltage drop.
I agree about the lower current draw with the LEDs.
One thing I always light with lighting systems is a very clear and defined cutoff. It seems that’s usually only found in higher end projector systems.
But it sounds like these E-codes have a good cutoff then I take it?

I've had the Hella E-codes in mine for a couple years now. I was running the Phillips Extra Vision bulbs until recently. @Rubicon John turned me onto these LED bulbs. BEAMTECH H4 LED Headlight Bulb For $40 bucks, I'm happy with them and have a stock look. Light pattern seems the same to me as the Phillips bulbs. Only been flashed a couple times in the month or so I've been using them.
