Chris Reeve Knives, or CRK as they're known, 100% US sourced materials and made in Idaho.
Brief history on Chris Reeve - originally from South Africa, invented the frame lock and was integral in the design of s35vn and s45vn blade steel produced by Crucible Industries, the pioneer in powder metallurgy.
One of my EDC knives is an Inkosi. Inkosi means Chief in Zulu and was introduced in 2016 as the successor to the Sebenza 25.
Some of the improvements - large hollow grind, better stop pin, oversized bronze bushings, reposition clip, double thumb lugs and s35 blade steel, on the earlier ones.
Scales are 6AL4V Ti, blue thumb lugs and s45 blade steel. I enjoy tying knots, therefore I changed the lanyard. I used the traditional CRK Snake knot, added a bead with tritium, easy to see in the dark and terminated the lanyard with a diamond knot.
