Hey Codaman. Here's a picture of my 05 TJ Rubicon that I followed you're budget lift post. Had to have it done in a shop, between age and not having all the right tools, mine will be a built by others jeep

now I just need to save for some tires.

What did you use for rear springs since the Pro comps seem to out of stock everywhere.

Since it seems Springs are not as critical as the shocks, anyone have thoughts on these?

That's the springs I used for my lift. FYI, my Rancho RS5000X shocks are working great.

BDS is a good alternative. That’s what I run now with my 2” lift.

Hello all! I have slowly planned my build around this setup as it seems nearly exactly what I’m looking for. I was wondering if anyone had any alignment issues afterwards? I would love to keep the stock control arms based on cost, but am worried I’m going to run into issues. Thanks

You will likely have some toe-in and a crooked steering wheel after the lift, which is easy to align yourself. The caster angle can be a bit low, which you'll recognize as vague steering. A pair of good adjustable lower arms will sort you out.
