So, after 3 XJ's (one great machine and two disasters) my daughter bought a basically stock 2012 JKU Sport, which in my opinion is just an XJ in a Wrangler hide jacket. She is already working up a build plan, all she really needs is a raise and maybe a second job...

Her new money pit will be known as "Lucifer". Strange sense of humor, that girl. Gets it from her Dad.

Actually, she wanted to steal my LJ and leave me with the JKU! :LOL: What we found was that the price difference between the few TJ's available and most of the older JK's was negligible (+/- $1000 or so). She scored one with the 3.6L engine for a good price (at the same dealer I bought my LJ from back in 2013), and it was a done deal.

Glad you protected the TJ! If she is happy and it was a good deal that is all that matters! I can’t wait for my kids to get jeeps ha!
