Went on a good little run today. Didn't take much for pics though. :(

Yep, the more you have that top, the more you're going to love it.

Also, why do you have rear headrests? Do they come stock on Canadian model TJs or something?

Nope, those are out of our old 2002 Jetta, lol. The kids complained that they didn't have anything to rest their heads on, so I installed those. The car's long gone, and I couldn't find these when we sold it, which ended up working out.

Oh, haha! Those headrests look really cool, I actually like them a lot. I may have to look into doing something similar. It completes the look.

The bad u-joint in my front driveshaft has been replaced, and the shaft is back in the Jeep. The bad vibs are gone too, woohoo!!

I also realized that I NEED a 1/4" air ratchet! I borrowed a Snap On one from work, and it made putting the 8 bolts holding the driveshaft back in sooo much easier! The entire tool fits in the palm of my hand, making it easy to get into tight spots.

Now, I don't have $300 to get a Snap On one, but I'll be keeping my eyes open for a half decent cheaper one. :)

After many months of procrastinating, I finally mounted my full size (33x12.5x15) spare. I honestly didn't think it would fit, but it does. It's a tight squeeze on the bumper, but that just means that the bumper will be supporting the weight instead of all the weight being supported by the door.

Oh yeah, I'm also really happy with how much sun my mesh top blocks! It makes a big difference, and it's much more comfortable driving with the top down now.

I have a Chicago Pneumatic 1/4" from Harbor Freight and it works fine. Not a mechanic any more so it works for my use.

You should extend those bumpers so the tire fits snugly against them. Keeps the tire from shaking/vibrating and stressing the tailgate.

Tonight I picked up a Jeep Add-a-Trunk. I wanted to be able to secure stuff a little better with the soft top on. This bolts to the tub, and you can't open the top with the back door closed. I didn't clean it or bolt it in before I took these pics...

I went to install my new pads and rotors on the front today, but found that the passenger side caliper has sticky, and the piston has a crack in it. :( I ordered two new calipers today, and they'll be here next week.

Both caliper brackets had indents where the pads sit, so I put a couple of spots of weld in them to get them built back up. I forgot to take pics of them finished with the wheel off though, DOH!

I didn't post any updates, but I have about 500km on my new brakes, and I'm loving them! Way better than what was on it. Cold bite is very good, but they really shine with a little heat in them.

I also installed a new Kenwood deck. Sounds great, and works great with my S7.

Today I finished up my 3" junkyard lift. The rear Crown Vic springs didn't give me quite what I was looking for, so I put front isolator in.

This past weekend I went to the 2nd annual Pirate Off-road Nation's Valley Invasion. There were 200 rigs, over 350 people and 3 nights of camping and 2 days of wheeling. It was awesome!

There were also over $10k worth of prizes given away, and I won a $200 gift card for a local off-road shop.

Love those photos of the event! It would appear that you have quite an active Jeep community up there in Canada, eh?

Yep, we have a pretty active community here (at least in our province). There are two large summer events here, Jeep Jam and Valley Invasion. There are also two smaller events (but still tons of fun), Backcountry Summer Event, and Wheeling with Friends. There are regular runs every weekend also.
