Will have to see how much snow this storm drops. Wentworth road to Uncle Tom’s is a nice area for the snow. Just depends on how deep the snow for how far you one can go.

Yep, don't lose the groove.

Last year it wasn't too bad we made it through, some areas were a little deep but doable. Alot of people were playing in the snow. Actually my avatar pic is on that road

Planning on heading towards Stanislaus area this Sunday if anyone is interested, We ,might go check out paper cabin ridge trail. It would be me and my friend he does have a TJ as well. Let me know if anyone is interested

I would but our club has its Mustang run in Reno that day. We were up at Forest Hill road last Saturday and hit snow around 5300 elevation. It’s gotten “warm” this week so not sure what the conditions would be like now. I would expect some snow towards Uncle Toms Cabin.

First pics is on Wentworth Springs Rd half way from Uncle Toms to Ice House on March 23rd. Second is an open area at the high point in WSR but the road itself wasn't bad. It was icy in the morning and slushy in the afternoon. We did get some more snow since then, but it's definitely been warm lately. I doubt there's much at Uncle Tom's.

Or you could also take Ice House Reservoir Rd-Wrights Lake Rd to Forest Service Rd FS-32 the back way up to Wrights Lake. There's a fair bit of slow elevation gain going that direction that should get you higher up. Loon is at 6400'; Wrights is at 7000'.
