California NorCal Jeep adventures!

Doesn’t seem like anything will be happening this weekend…can we try to pick another date for the Mendocino National Forrest day trip. Maybe for next weekend Saturday the 27th?

Sorry, my hot water heater is leaking, so I need to replace it this weekend. Will try to get something going for the 27th.

The bottom of the tank is leaking. Lines are dry. Think it has rotted out.

I think @Apparition was giving you a bad time ;)

No need to replace it, just disconnect it and connect the inlet side to the outlet side and this will eliminate the tank and stop the leaking. Since you have a hot water heater there is no need to heat water that is already hot., Now if you have a std water heater that's different because your heating tap water which is usually cold. If this does make since maybe she could explain it better. JK

Alright so @Geepum and I are headed up to the Knoxville OHV area to do some exploring and light trails . Saturday July 27th. We are meeting at Cache Creek Casino gas station at 7am. Headed up highway 16 to highway 20 to highway 53 and dropping down into Knoxville. We will be coming out the southern Berryessa route into winters. If anyone is interested in tagging along let us know ! The weather is suppose to be much cooler saturday.

My daughter used to live in Dunsmuir. We visited regularly, and would explore the area, camping at the Railroad RV park. Have you been up to Tamarack Lake? That is a fun trail to get to the Lake. The Crags are cool too.

I love that area! On of my favorite drives is taking the backroads from Mount Shasta all the way around behind Castle Crag to Castella. I've never been to Tamarack Lake though, thanks for the suggestion!
