Just came back from Pinecrest, going up 108 I saw a grey TJ that was packed to the brim, had cargo netting. Sadly I wasn't in my TJ, i was driving my gramps' Cummins.

Did some wheelin with the kids today. Only went in about a mile which was plenty fun on 31's

It's a classic and really a must do, IMO. I cannot do the entire trail on 31's; hell, the short spot I went through was sporty enough for what I am running. The skids definitely took a beating
Couple dudes came through on 35/37 and rolled through with relative ease.
I have @tomtaylz old set of 33's sitting in my garage. Im sure he wont notice we were to borrow them for the weekendIt's a classic and really a must do, IMO. Its been on my list forever. I feel that I am finally to the point were the jeep will make it through without to many issues. In an ideal world I need a higher crawl ratio but I am not about to dump 2500 on an atlas and haven't found a rubicon transfer case for sale at a reasonable price.
Left Sunday July 22 for a 6 day Jeep trip through 3 different National Forests in Northern California, starting out at the south end of the Mendocino National Forest.

First camp on the Eel River. Did a little fishing, not much luck.

Oh I see how it is! Slick Rock wasn't good enough for you? Lol! Glad you got out there and banged around thru the rocks a bit. You could manage the whole trail on your setup, but you'd want friends along to drag you thru some of the sportier stuff, and lots of under armor. I ran the trail on 32's, but had to stack rocks a few times, and pull cable once.
Getting ready to drop down into the Van Duzen River for our second night of camping.
Second camp for 2 days on the Van Duzen River.
Stopped at the Six Rivers Ranger Station at Mad River.
Then went through Hayfork and Hyampom. Also went through part of Shasta Trinity National Forest earlier.

Third camp for 2 days in the Six Rivers National Forest above the Trinity River.
Came out onto Hwy 299 and heading west to U.S. 101 to go back home down the Hwy.
