So when Hillary gets indicted...

Wow! you guys are really against Cruz. I respect nobody trashed me in my earlier post when I supported him and I certainly will not trash anyone else either-I don't do that. What is cool to me is this seems to be a year where more people than ever will be voting and all i WILL say is may the best MAN win!!! and that is not gender based- I just hate Hillary...
I thought it was the year, more people than ever discovered that their votes don't count at all.

Vote Sanders, let's burn this place down and start over. Seriously, there is so much going on behind the scenes in politics at this level now, that it's making my head explode. Our choices are shaking out to be an un-indited potential felon, an avowed socialist, a successful real estate mogul / reality show star or a warm body the national political machines pull out of the shadows at the last minute at the conventions. Sounds about right, US politics as usual. The only redeeming factor is that whoever gets elected is not reasonably going to jump into Air Force One and jet out here to personally harass me about some trivial BS. The big scary gorilla in the corner of the room that few people are talking about is that whoever gets elected is going to nominate at least one, and possibly up to three Supreme Court Judges. Now that's a serious thing. FDR did that and we ended up with a hard turn to the left.

votes dont count for shit, Clinton was chosen by the establishment years ago, they have enough dirt on her to control all her policies. enjoy the show. the debates and arguments over twitter will be entertaining...

Yep, no SC in the constitution.

Plus side is Bernie will give Texas and California back to Mexico!

Told ya she wouldn't be indicted. I knew that wasn't going to happen.

She'll end up becoming president too, mark my word.

I'm not saying I like it (because I don't), but while I do like the fact that Trump speaks his mind, he can't even get the support of his party behind him, nor can he get anyone to donate to his campaign.

Shit... Trump can't even get anyone who supports him to come out and say it. I know there are likely a TON of famous people (besides Tom Brady) who support Trump (celebrities and the like), but he can't get them to publicly say it, because they fear the backlash their careers would suffer because of it.

So yeah, just start accepting it sooner rather than later. Clinton will be your new president.

The only thing Trump achieved was laying waste to the republican parties nominees, he did a better job at knocking them all out of the race than any democrat could have ;).

I think trump has completely laid waste to the Republican Party in general!

That's been the Trump objective since Day One - hard to believe people don't remember him being all palsy-walsy with them, contributing to Bills campaign, and even socializing with them:

I agree, Trump was at one time a big Democrat. I think for some reason people don't seem to remember that.

I don't think he's an idiot, I think there's a method to his madness. He's systematically destroyed the GOP and no one can argue one bit that he has drastically hurt the publics perception of the GOP / Republicans.

It's almost as if that was his plan all along.

I think it's been his ploy all along. The man is no dummy despite what he presents himself as when campaigning as a Republican candidate.

Not sure it that's just me and my tin foil hat illness, but just my 2¢

I agree. He's not an idiot by any means, sometimes he just makes himself seem like one.

And hey, you've got admire the man for at least saying whatever the hell he wants, LOL! If only all politicians were that way.

personally I wasn't sure if he was there to destroy the party or make the other candidates look good. guess we know the answer now.

As I have gotten older, each successive presidential election made me shake my head and say 'worst yet'. I never thought it could get as bad as this one has in short order. Past elections pale in comparison to the damage this one has done to our country.

The conclusion I came to years ago is that the best candidates will never run for president. My proof of that is to look at the clowns who do run.

Afterall, why would the best candidates run? The best candidates are those who have major accomplishments and success which would be vilified by the press and other candidates. Those are the types to have also gotten someone angry who will go go public with their story. Skeletons in the closet? Few mortals don't have at least one skeleton in their closet they're not proud of that would be uncovered and become front-page news.

No matter how fine of an individual they may be, how smart they are, how much good they have done in the past, or how superb their plans would be for the country, they'll be ripped apart by the press and opposing party and made to look like a child molester/nuclear nut/unqualified/liar/etc. or have that skeleton, minor as it may be, used publicly against them.

We are doomed to be lead by mediocrity and by those without vision. The only presidents in recent history that come to mind that had a vision for America are Reagan and JFK. As a staunch Republican, it's hard for me to say that about any recent Democrat but JFK had it. And in today's political spectrum, JFK would probably have considered himself a Republican.

You hit the nail on the head, entirely.

I also agree with you that Reagan and JFK were the only presidents in recent history who really were visionaries.
