I'm drawing a blank right now, but aren't there some downsides to the relocation brackets?
I think the biggest downside is the additional leverage whatever obstacle you smash into has on the mounts, bending the factory bracket. I forgot about this option, flip the shocks upside down. Free 99
Those are Ranchos and cannot be flipped. The OP will need different shocks.
I've read Bilstein 5100s can, but I believe you're correct, the RS5000x can't go can up.

The relocation brackets change the travel bias and reduce shock travel by raising the lower mount a bit.
I'd trim the perch more. The brackets change travel and hang lower. They should be a temporary solution at best.
A supershort would get your driveline almost close to where it needs to be it looks like and you may not even need a new driveshaft depending on how much slip it has. You'll also need something to correct the speedometer, which I am not sure what is the go-to anymore but my bluemonkey version has been easy to use.

Those look the same as I installed 21+ years ago, only to remove them within a month or two because they kept getting hung up on the trail because they hang lower than the OE brackets.
Personally I'll be buying a shock that I can flip or trim the perch or a combination.
I had some similar to those that I had all kinds of issues with. I even broke one. When I went to my Rockjock 60 the problem went away.

spring perches are cut. this winter the shock mount will have to be removed and relocated.
that’s sitting flat on the floor.
i have the Teraflex SYE. I have an additional transfer case in my trailer in Alaska. once that gets down here i’ll install a SSSYE. along with getting the brackets relocated. new rear driveshaft,
I’ve done so much to the jeep it’s hard to keep up with all the corrections that need to be done.
so 4inch lift tummy tuck and body lift. definitely need the SSSYE
