Basket's Build

Save all the old bolts from the Jeep, I had some left over from something that worked perfectly to extend the rear bump stops, all I needed was some spacers for the bolts
Good plan. I try to keep the ones with decent threads but seems like I pull alot out that are pretty trashed. Hopefully I have some laying around

The Johnny joint doesn't seem to want to fit into the relocation bracket. That sucks not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm tired I will come back and look at it tomorrow

Did you try tapping it in with a hammer?

A little bit but I didn't try for too long. Kinda just tired of laying on the ground for the day honestly lol. I will try that kinda a pain with the heep at ride height. I'll get it in one way or another I guess
this is your second offense of saying "heep" instead of Jeep, 2 more and you will be forced to reinstall the relocation bracket.

My rear track bar was 3rd hand when I got it, but it had a different size JJ ball in one end. I had to swap the ball for the correct size (width)... I didn't realize that until after an hour or so trying to force it to work, though.

Hmm hopefully that isn't what happened to me... I did get it and the bracket together new so idk how likely it is

Got the track bar in last night. I think my troubles were that my pinion had fallen pretty low since I had some control arms removed plus the axle was too far off center. Got it in and the axle is about 1/16" offcenter now... I'm happy with that.

I got a little overexcited to try to finish last night and snapped a control arm bolt. Core 4x4 was nice enough to send me 2 by themselves for a decent price so should be finishing soon.

The ZJ tie rod I ordered was damaged in shipping too, so I had to order another one of those. Coming together nicely though... Very very close to being back on the road just in time for april phools run

Looks like I got the wrong part in the right box, DS1312 tie rod end box for the ZJ upgrade but this isn't right.. bummer

On the bright side I have the rear end set and centered and pinion angle set. Looks like I'm gonna be driving the gas tank down while I wait for the new tie rod end
