Yes. You.
My last post on this thread because I've totally had it with the utter lack of hospitality towards this poor guy, but to those of you claiming it absolutely isn't possible to have a good TJ on 33s without lifting, I have a photo for you.
Take a look at the distance between axle centerline and bottom of frame rail. (that is how lift is defined after all, right?)
Now yes, this is rolling a bit in the corner, but I happen to know a great amount of detail about that chassis setup, and I can tell you that the "lift" is very very small.
And those don't look like 33s.
If you don't know this car, look it up. I think its performance speaks for itself.
More than one way to build a TJ indeed. You don't have to go down to get uptravel. Up is an option too if you are willing to do some big boy work.

You're comparing apples and oranges - let's take a stock tj on 33s without any cutting or shock relocation and try again.

Is that what we're building here? How many people here are building something with the only stock panels being cowl, hood, and grill... And modifying all of those to make them sort of fit?
Me. That's why I don't hang around this crowd much.

Don't worry, I won't bother y'all anymore. I'm going back to pirate where people are friendlier.
Pirate must be much more of a day spa than it used to be.
Funny cutting wasn't an option presented when everyone here was busy telling him it'll never work.
Bet he's not opposed to cutting if he's pursuing a low build.
It's apples and apples. They both started as TJs, and took different approaches to different end goals.
And this forum would have you think that isn't possible. And I hate the lack of hospitality towards an ambitious new forum member interested in pursuing a build that y'all consider "stupid"
don't they have a snowflake section now?
We already have one. Hardcore Tech.Greaserbounce should start one if they don't.
We already have one. Hardcore Tech.
I'll take the a$$hats that actually know what they're talking about any day of the week.
Funny how quickly people turn to ad hominem when they find themselves in the wrong.
I'd be already gone if they made it easy to delete an account from this godforsaken hellhole from the mobile site.
still here?
Just to piss you off yeah. I'll stay 'til someone deletes my account for me
