I'm working through some stalling issues now, but trying to diagnose rather than guess as to the issue to not spend too much on unnecessary parts. It doesn't sound like mine overlaps beyond the intermittent stalling.
The manuals pcms are a tad tricky but we’ve gotten it figured out! ✅

Hey guys, new here to the TJ forum. Bought my TJ about 6 months ago. Since then, I have learned about the P1603/P1604/P0700 sadly through experience. Now my TJ will only start with the CEL on. Talked to Mark over at WranglerFix on the phone and his solution definitely sounds promising. I decided to order one of his PCM's, and am awaiting it in the mail! I will update you guys as to my success after installation

Hey folks

looking for any more feedback on the Wranglerfix PCM. hnterreese did you get yours?

Yep I got mine in the mail. Shipped super fast and plugged it in. My TJ fires up and idle possibly better than ever. I have drove it for about 200 miles so far and the CEL has not come up! They seem to be good PCM’s! Shift’s great, no jolt if that is your issue, and mine hasn’t gone into limp mode.

Of course I’m still skeptical but I would be buying any PCM. I do have to say Mark at Wranglerfix was super helpful and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask him. I spent almost a half hour on the phone with him as he walked through all different aspects of the problem.

Got mine from wrangler fix and will install it as soon as i get over pneumonia.Did enjoy talking to Mark, very good conversation. Will give follow up when i can get some miles on it.

Anyone try it offroad yet? Any issues with heat, water, dirt, dust, vibration, etc.?

Next week I’ll have mine on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Nothing hardcore, but low speed through the sand. A little deep in some areas.

I just drove it 440+ miles yesterday through the outer banks and up to Virginia Beach to visit our youngest son and his family. That puts me at a total of about 1,550 miles. No shifting issues or anything. Im considering it definitely fixed. I don’t have any major off roading on the PCM...this coming week I’ll be doing some driving on the beaches of the outer banks which isn’t hard but I don’t expect any problems.

Just got back today from our week trip to the Outer Banks/Virginia Beach, a total of 1,145 miles round trip. This included about 3 hours worth of driving up and down the beach playing around. All slow speed, some deep sand, transmission temp gauge getting up to about 170* when digging around in the deeper stuff for a while. Still no shifting issues at all.

I have 2,244 miles now on the PCM since replacing it. Thanks again Mark, @Wranglerfix .
