Project "Frankentrailer"

Good idea on the heating tape! I'll be spraying with Nason Acrylic Urethane single stage, then I'll tape off the rail for the Raptor. Might do the flares in Raptor too. They are a bit rough and would save me some clean up time.

That's good to know. I'm kind of living in the past when it comes to current paints. I used to shoot acrylic enamel (DuPont Centari) years ago. I'm just getting back into it and want to keep things as simple as I can. My trailer turned out well, I think  , and next up is my LJ.

Might as well put the tail gate to good use.

Today was primer sealer day, but it didn't go quite as planned. The Raptor epoxy primer clogged up less than half way thru. I tried to clear it with solvent and compressed air to no avail. Not impressed. Hope the actual Raptor liner works better. So, I had to scramble as nobody had any in stock up here. I ended up putting some Duplicolor primer sealer on instead.

Assuming you got the 2 part mixture with the gun that attaches to an air compressor, you shouldn't have an issue.

It's the weird 2k in a can thing. I experimented and lost. Hoping the bedliner works better.
