All the more reason to outboard!

Brakes. Steering linkages. Axles, if you haven't already.I'm still thinking out loud about fenders. What's the point of going with a GR Aluminum that's not HiLine? I mean, it's $1300. Besides the work involved, why not just go with the HiLine? If I do HiLine, I can run 35's, but what else would I have to change. Am I going to want more uptravel? longer shocks? Modify the upper spring perches?

No doubt. I'd rather buy once, cry once and go full outboard than pay $2K for a 6pak of shocks. I usually spend $7 on a 6pak around these parts. All the more reason to outboard!
Especially if you consider an outboard is less than 2k, assuming you do the labor...No doubt. I'd rather buy once, cry once than pay $2K for a 6pak. I usually spend $7 on a 6pak around these parts!

Does that include the 23% Washington State liquor tax? That was a shockNo doubt. I'd rather buy once, cry once than pay $2K for a 6pak. I usually spend $7 on a 6pak around these parts!
Can't trust anyone else to do the labor.Especially if you consider an outboard is less than 2k, assuming you do the labor...
Beer is not included, but my wife's Rum and Vodka et al does get the shock taxD

Front axles are done, front brake pads are done, but no BBK. Steering linkages no done.Brakes. Steering linkages. Axles, if you haven't already.
Because they might blow off on the highway. Why not MCE front fenders, much cheaper and may hold you over for awhile until you go full highline with the other associated mods
Only the rears, but there is a fix for that. I haven't lost one in months!Because they might blow off on the highway.![]()
Ha, I missed that story... I haven’t had that issue yet. Good news If you bump them into things they’re flexible. Install of those may temporarily scratch the itch of cutting sheet metal tooBecause they might blow off on the highway.![]()
No, they classify it as spirits. Beer is not classified as a spirit, so ABV in beer doesn’t matter. I’ve seen up to 9.9%. Spirits are taxed 20.5% plus a sales tax by a liquor store and 13.7% in an establishmentIs there a percentage of alcohol in the beer before it gets taxed, like in Utah?
I’ve really thought about it and that might be a viable solution. I’m not in love with the look, but flat is Jeep original, and there is flex, so that might work!Ha, I missed that story... You really only need fronts, and for $218 it’s a cheaper solution to a problem...cutting up the OEM fenders might be the push you need to go 35’sI’ve really thought about it and that might be a viable solution. I’m good with cutting up the OEM fenders. I think I might go this route. It was on the table two years ago, but they were like $550 then! I was like, shit no way, just not worth it. But the flex always attracted me, not transferring energy to the body is good, though those who have aluminum don’t tend to report body damage through hitting them. You really only need fronts, and for $218 it’s a cheaper solution to a problem...cutting up the OEM fenders might be the push you need to go 35’s
