I wanted a RubiCrawler but with the 4.1 it doesn’t make sense. Based on the wheeling I’ve been doing I can’t think of a single situation where I would need to crawl any slower than I already can.

For now I am still running the factory air lockers. Eventually I'll replace the front with a Detroit full case and the rear with an ARB or Eaton. I wanted them on separate switches though since I have grown to loath the factory Rubicon locker functionality.
The way Blaine set those switches up is so that the light on the switch illuminates when power is sent to locker pump. The indicator light above lights up when locker is locked.

Blaine also went ahead and relocated the locker pumps from under the vehicle into the ABS tray and cleaned up a lot of underwood wiring from numerous accessories.

At some point I'll probably add a remote tank, yes.
I'm going to live with it the way it is for now. If at some point I have a reason to re-gear to 5.38, that's when I'll do the lockers. If I get it back from Blaine and it's mostly vibration free the way it is now, I may just never re-gear to 5.38 simply out of fear that the 5.38 gears will invoke the crazy vibrations I had on my last one.
I've priced out a hub kit and that rabbit hole would be upwards of 6k pretty easily purely based off the fact I would need new wheels and these wheels ain't cheap!
You can get the small hub setup. I'm fairly confident @Midnight LJR has the stock bolt pattern. He had to get something like 4.5 backspacing though to account for the extra inch the hubs added to the wheels.
Yep, and my issue is that my wheels are currently 3.75" backspacing. So that leaves me having to order new wheels which would be around $3000. I could sell my wheels and offset the cost, but I'm still left having to swap tires (not much fun on beadlock wheels).
Then there is the cost of the hub kit and probably some other stuff I am leaving out.
It may end up that I go down this path eventually anyways. If I could find someone to pay top dollar for my wheels I might be tempted to do it. These wheels are $600 a piece, so $3000 for a set. Maybe if someone paid me $2500 or so I might do it.
What's the reason you'll need new wheels again? Hub won't fit through the center hole? Or too wide?
