Not yet. I bonded them to their mounting screws with a semi flexible epoxy. I wanted to see if it would hold up before I finished the final weathering and paint.

I also haven’t decided if I want to wire them in or give them stand alone battery packs. I’m leaning towards battery packs.

Be easy to mount lights, cut a hole in the skulls and pop those over the top like covers. Lights would shine out the eyes and make them glow. Get tired of the skulls and you still have bumper lights. Camouflage the lights from thieves it’s a win win

These skulls actually come with removable tops held on by neodymium magnets. I epoxied these two together and sanded down the seam after I bonded in the washers and mounting screws.

I’ll take them off in the next few weeks to check how the epoxy held up. If it worked out well I’ll finish sanding them, weather and carve them a bit more, then paint them realistically.

At that time I’ll see how far I get on the lighting. Ideally I’d like to find some vintage side marker lights to shove in the eye holes.

But it all depends on how they held up over the winter.

This is genius, it's the perfect vehicle for a bank robbery... no way to describe the vehicle's color.
