You could probably use some of that Home Depot gutter guard material he's covering the exhaust stacks with to patch it up.
What is crazy is at the county we had a huge roof leak on a building during a prolonged storm over 3 days . Out of scrambling to reduce the flow I had the guys cover the area , dry it off with towels , use a mapp gas torch to remove any dampness , and make a patch with flex tape . With a properly prepared area and applied carefully , the tape is amazing for a quick temporary repair. It sealed up a huge leak , and prevented further damage . A quick and dirty emergency repair aid . It absolutely works .![]()
Seems like a lot of extra work. The commercial shows him putting it on UNDER water...
I'm that guy , I tried this as an emergency repair and wanted to give it a shot at success . Who knows , it may have worked under water .
