Okay quick question: I’ve had some rake since i installed the OME lift, but didn’t do anything about it. Today i measured how much it raked and it seemed to be about 2” lower in the front. What’s the best plan to level this out? Should i put 2” spacers in the front or get some longer front springs?

Is the rake even on both sides of the rear?
How light is it in the rear?

2" spacers is a lot. Mine has a tiny rake but as soon as I put stuff in it (camping, etc.) it levels out. I'd pick up some OME 10mm trim spacers for the front and try those first before jumping straight to 2" spacers. If the lift is new there might be some settling that still needs to happen.

Just throwing out ideas 😁

The rake is even on both sides. I also thought that 2” spacers was a lot, though the rear is usually pretty light compared to the front. Unless i’m going wheeling or camping. Thanks for the ideas!

While we still have a bit of sun i decided to do some painting…

These door trims were annoying me for a while.

And finally the roll bar padding. They had faded to a bad purple and so with some fabric paint i got them back to black

Next thing on the list for cosmetics is the seats! They have also faded to a purple so i plan on ordering some bartact seat covers

Picked up some TJ Rubicon Moabs for a pretty fair price. The PO mounted them on some 34” Mud terrains that need replacing pretty soon, but it seemed like a good time to see what my clearance is on some almost 33’s.

The rear clears them okay but the rake makes the front super tight. I’m planning on a savvy body lift and then figuring out how to level it out.

You have a sweet rig man! I tried to find some Moab wheels but didn’t have any luck. I just ended up going with JK wheels and adapters. Hopefully one day I will find some.

Thank you! Surprisingly i've found quite a few TJ rubicon moabs in my area. Mostly around 300$, but i picked up 5 of these for 150$, which i thought was a pretty good deal.

What the heck kind of bubble lens did you take this picture with??! Looks like the door is busting out of the frame and the tires are WAY to big for the lift...
Haha i was wondering if someone would notice… I was testing out the new wide angle lens on my phone. The door was open in the pic, and i was low down to take the pictures so the tires look big with the wide angle. Though they are too big either way, just waiting on a body lift

I would get a body lift from Savvy.

Too soon ?

As many jeep owners do, i’ve realized that many of the things i did when i first got the jeep were a waste of money, and i should have done it right the first time, but oh well.

As a start of fixing/replacing many of my first mods, i’ve got some new KC headlights that have more of a stock look, although i didn’t realize they came individually so i’ve just placed an order for another, but my impatience got the best of me so now i’ve got mismatched headlights 😂

If only i didn’t buy that bumper and saved up for a savvy aluminum, but live and learn
