Is that yours, did you end up trying them with the Savvy tummy tuck?
That's @abdubitar1000 's picture. It'd probably be fine with just the tummy and not the engine skid.

Looks like it works with trans skid but not engine skid.I hope so

No oil pan skid for you? I’m curious about the difference in sound you report.Well, I've got a Savvy transfer case skid on order. Once I install the headers I'll see if it will work with the Savvy skid.
I really want it to work, since from what I've read about these headers they really are the missing link for the 4.0. Like he said, "It feels like someone unplugged the butthole of the 4.0".
That looks like it hangs down ridiculously far. No way I could run without my engine skid.

I wouldn’t have any run of the mill shop doing TIG work for me given it’s stainless steel, but yes with some mods it should work with anything. We will see. It may be that one doesn't work. I want to get it on there first. I wonder if someone could modify the header enough (the lower portion at least) to tuck it up a bit more. I can't imagine it would be that hard to do for any competent exhaust shop.
I have no doubt it will be louder. How much louder is TBD, but with no cats at all, I may need to figure out a way to modify the rest of the exhaust system to reduce the noise. Maybe a muffler with a lot of packing in it.

You didnt cancel your order did you? I called them and they said they had one in stock. the guy I talked to said it doesnt hang below the oil pan sump. so an engine skid would probably work still.
Maybe they build two when they have none in inventory when they get an order.Nope, I didn't cancel my order. But I've been waiting over a month since I ordered it to get shipment notification, which I just received today. He told me they were a build to order item.

Good news on this one. My American Racing Headers are finally done being built! Took a hell of a long time, but they are finally done. Can’t wait to put these bad boys on.

From what others have said, the headers alone totally open up the 4.0
Oh man, can't wait to hear your review on these bad boys once installed and tested. Are you doing the install?
I would try from the bottom first. Lots of unnecessary work to remove the fender. It’s not that bad with some extensions and a swivel from the bottom.Yeah, I am going to do it myself. I think I’ll remove the drivers side fender entirely to make it easier to install.

It’d be easier with it removed but there’s a lot of stuff on that fender and lots of bolts to remove. At least that’s my opinion and my memory of removing my fenders.Maybe I’ll try that first. I always assumed it was easier if the fender was removed. Hopefully none of those bolts are seized or anything.
