Do you guys still use CB radios?

3/8" Stud Mount with Firestik CB antenna (ring terminals rather than PL-259 connector):

Hi @Mr. Bills

In the first picture, with the Larson antenna, what type of NMO connector did you use? Looks like it was able to fit through the same type of tail light mount that we also use for our CB antennas, and using the same type coax.

My NMO mount is from https://breedlovemounts.com So is the CB stud mount on the driver's side.

I re-drilled the hole in the Terraflex tail light antenna mount with a 5/8" hole for the Breedlove NMO mount.

We ran both CB and GMRS this week exploring a new forest road where heavy logging was going on, most of the log trucks and shovel operators use CB and that will help keep you from getting run over, but another group that was setting up the haul out areas and logs was definitely using GMRS. Since both are installed in my Jeep they will stay even if I eventually go ham.
