Ideal setup for 33 inch tires?

Use a spacer on top of the OME springs to get you close to 3" up front. You may want the rear around 2.5" so you don't have as much rake. That would work.

You could consider JKS 3" springs.
quick question, what is rake(im still rather new to this since I dont wheel much, but want to) and if I do the OME heavy dutys with a 1.25 BL wouldn't I be at about 3.25+ all around? Im told the springs give 2-2.5 inches and it depends on your weight, I have a soft top and half doors. I am considering JKS 3 inch springs

Do you plan to offroad with it? Why are you going with a body lift and not just a larger suspension lift?
I am doing a motor mount lift with the body lift because I plan to tummy tuck in the future

I forgot to mention I will be doing a TT in the future, I will be getting the JB conversions SS SYE with 1310 CV yolk and a custom driveshaft

Rake is when the body sits higher than the front. It is there to compensate for occasional added cargo weight.

The guys who work to make their empty Jeep or truck sit level in the driveway end up with a goofy Carolina Squat when they add additional weight.
 
Are you getting the SYE now? The JKS track bar bracket that you listed can only be used when using a SYE. This is due to the fact that the bracket is angled to compensate for the increased pinion angle with a SYE. If you’re not getting a SYE right away then get the OME rear track bar bracket.

im going to get the jks track bar with my sye and cv driveshaft. I will put them in all at once

How do the springs ride, do they sag at all with a hard top and full doors, what about with soft top and half doors?
The springs just hold up the rig. The shocks ride pretty good though. My up and down travel are right at equal.

The ride height does change when I switch from topless and doorless to hardtop and doors, especially in the rear, ~ 0.5” variance

I am currently debating between the jks 3" springs and the OME heavy duty 2" springs, if I go with the 3" of suspension lift, wont I have to extend the brake lines and such? Im just confused because the previous owner of my jeep put a 3" skyjacker lift on it.(at first he said he put a 2" lift and a 1" body lift but after my buddy looked at it he was lying/wrong) and I dont really have vibrations or brake problems, however my jeep does clunk A LOT

The previous owner wasn't lying. Most have little idea how to lift a vehicle. Stock TJ coils were 12" front, 8" rear. Anything more is the lift height.

Given your plans, it would be helpful to learn how to cycle the axles without springs in place. That will very clearly tell you what is happening with brake lines, shocks, bump stops, driveline angles, tire clearances, etc. You can become very knowledgeable very quickly and your decisions will be informed decisions.

You may have to extend the brake lines. All TJs are different. However, 3” is a spot that gets iffy

They ride as well as the shocks allow.



Any and all springs will compress a bit with added weight.

The full OME kit comes with two ride types: soft and... sport or something. The shocks are nitrogen charged and the two different rides are due to the valving inside the shock.

I had the soft ride nitrocharger shocks and the ride was way better than stock. Currently running Fox 2.0 nitrogen charged shocks with 4" Skyjacker springs and the ride is great. The interwebs says that nitrogen charged shocks will be stiffer. But I think Fox did a great job with valving these shocks for a good ride.

The OME 2" (actually something like 2.25") on the LJ didn't require extensions. Of course, no mall crawler really does need extensions except maybe driving over a speed bump one wheel at a time, but who does that?
 
I like my special Foxes too. Looking forward to getting a matching pair up front. ;)

The OME 2" covers a wide range of options from near stock to almost 3", depending on which springs and how heavy the Jeep is. I know more about this than I ought to. :)

A quick and easy way to figure out brake lines is to hang the axle from the shocks and turn the steering side to side. If the hoses are getting close to tight, understand that they will get pulled even tighter at full flex.

I have another question for you, i was curiously looking at your mod list and noticed that you did a 1" spacer in the front, was it the front only? and why. Did you do the heavy duty OME springs and how do you like them?

I thought I read it being a 2" restriction. Not sure. I think OME doesn't officially actually state an advertised lift height. They place more emphasis on the load carrying ability. It's all the same thing, though. The spring's rate and free length against the weight of the vehicle determines the final ride height.
