Rear Spring Relocation Without Adding Height?

Just pointing out that you might get more overall travel with a shorter shock since most can't use all the length available anyway.
IMO, you're more likely to stuff one than max one out. Plus, if it's at max droop, then there's probably very little usable weight/traction on that tire.
Appreciate the clarification, and I was on the right visual track with that. Caveat: I might stay with a longer shock to maintain a bit more up clearance if I ever need to chain up. Sensible?

A longer shock will give you less up travel if improperly set up.

Don't over complicate it. Use whatever gets you close to 50/50 travel from ride height.

Whelp, time for a new trackbar. OEM cover doesn't clear the current TB. Assuming it's RE TB.

Hitting the OEM diff cover, not the housing. Took the pic with the cover off.
Were the shocks installed?

If not, and the diff cover interference occurs above where the shocks reach full compression, then the diff cover doesn't matter.

Nearly hitting the ring gear with cover off. Hope the RJ TB will alleviate this.

Shocks in place and driver side has 1.5 - 2" left to full stuff.

All shocks suck until you get tuned outboarded shocks. That being said ranchos do okay for me. The rear shocks suck more than the front ones do but it’s tolerable. Would definitely like to outboard the rear soon.

As for the trackbar hitting the diff, the rockjock trackbar has more bend than the rubicon express one. We just replaced a rubicon express trackbar with a rockjock on my dads rig and it helped clear the diff

Ballpark how much clearance you gained or how much bend I the RJ TB? Not sure how much I need.
Will my current mount work?

The mount is fine. RJ will get you the most usable clearance in a bolt on application. If the cover is still a problem, then the axle needs to be adjusted.

Ordered RJ Front TB. Dec.15 estimate, waiting on ends.
FWIW the UCA is 12" fixed, rear is 15" adjusted nearly to the short stop, maybe 1/2" out. RE Short Arm per receipt posted.

Yeah the rockjock will work and if it doesn’t then pull the axle back a little

Yup. Fingers crossed.
Sure glad I didn't take this thing out for anything remotely resembling hard core.
And my locals think I'm OCD'n this..
