Recommendations: Replacement Sport Bar Covers

Ok, looking to tap the wisdom of the crowd for replacement sport bar covers. Any brand recommendations or warnings? The current ones are faded but undamaged. I considered spray dieing them, but someone told me new ones are cheap enough to not waste my time. I saw some from VDP, Smittybilt and of course.
Bestop. I’d prefer to go a bit cheaper as it’s my sons Jeep. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't even consider new covers with yours being undamaged. A can or two of aerosol vinyl upholstery dye will fix them right up.

My roll bar covers were faded to the point of looking brown. I read in this forum how spraying them works well. So I removed them, sent them through the wash and applied a couple cans of matte black fabric spray.

Really amazed how well the spray worked. Covers look brand new.

I also used the spray vinyl fabric dye a few years ago with the same great results. I washed them first to get old caked in mud out and then applied the spray while they were still slightly damp. I read somewhere at the time that applying while a little damp helped to ensure the dye was absorbed evenly and/or the fabric remained softer once dry. Mine still looks good today.

I tried Quadratec's Rugged Ridge covers, terrible product, bad support. The foam on the inside fell off, the covers for the bars over the doors were unusable.
I'll go Bestop next time.

Same here. Now I know what my TJ would look like with the covers removed...what holds the foam padding in place?

I've looked into this pretty in depth. All the aftermarket covers are garbage from what I read, including the Bestop ones (which is disappointing, given that Bestop usually makes a good product).

When mine fade to the point where I would consider replacing them, I would just remove them, get fabric dye, and paint them black (along with washing them), like @glwood did with his.

That's the best route to go IMHO, as the factory covers fit the best (and look the best too IMHO).

I may take mine to a local shop and have some sewn up from them as a pattern.

I almost did once, but I read all the reviews and most people seemed to say that they fit very poorly and there were issues aplenty.

I decided not to order them based off the overwhelming bad reviews I read.

I was wondering the same thing, and if anyone on here running naked roll bars, how easy was it to route the wiring I see in that shot.

Shocking.

I've always wondered why Bestop doesn't make the Windjammer to actually fit between the roll bar uprights...maybe this is the same one used for CJs, re-purposed?

Why it doesn't cover side to side. Seems a bit small for the opening.
