Hey motomick76 hope you can help out again.
I'm mocking up my 5.3 to the nv3550 in order to get the proper adjustment on my Novak adjustable throw-out bearing. Did you use the Novak method to set the TO bearing size? It says to start with the fork pulled all the way back for your first measurement. That's the part I'm taking issue with. When the stock slave is installed, the fork isn't pulled all the way back. So it seems that if I start there the TO bearing will be too long once I do the math.
I've been debating on just taking some measurement from the back of the adapter plate and off the face of the trans to get my final size. Any insight would be appreciated. I'm sure this isn't going to be the last time I reach out for help. Thanks in advance for your time.
