You're really not far off then! Minor adjustments is all. I'll have a basic tool set and tape measure Saturday. We can get it aligned in a few minutes in the parking lot.

I’ll see what damage I can do before then, I just don’t want to be driving down c470 again when the shakes kick in.

Edit: I’ll have you double check me, but after a little under a 1/4 turn toward the front and its close. More importantly it didn’t start shaking on the loop by my house I can typically reproduce it on

Trailer Parking: There are many spots along Homestake Road that can be used for truck/trailer parking if need be. One of the best locations is 1.9 miles from Highway 24 on the southeast side of the road. There you will find a very large, open area typically used by those visiting with trailers just for the day.

Question for y’all. Looks like I may just be spending Saturday, Sunday, Monday in Denver and then heading back to Illinois, bypassing my intended trip to Wyoming. Where should I go? Are there trails that I can reasonably run by myself without worry?

Spring Creek is a lot of fun and is real close to Denver but i wouldn't run it alone. Another one is slaughterhouse gulch also near Denver

I’m pretty experienced on forest service roads from my time in Wyoming. Are there any scenic FS roads that I could go see by myself? Mostly looking for fun things to do and to see the city since I plan on moving out there in a few years time.

There's lots of great loops between I70 and 285 (Idaho Springs to Frisco/Breck, and if you want to go a bit further Leadville). Things like: Webster Pass, Red Cone, Mosquito Pass, Radical hill, etc.

If you have trails offroad (even the basic membership which is just an account on the site) you can get a list of trails to explore on the map in that box.

As long as work doesn’t call the unreliable one is in. At least he has a TJ.
We both will be hauling our jeeps. His is green on 37s and mine is a khaki LJ on 35s. If we are early we most likely will stay by our trucks until I see the convoy.

I am all packed and ready to go in the morning! Made some other minor adjustments before the trip; fixed the passenger seat heater (blown fuse), adjusted rear brakes, fixed a separated exhaust, and topped her off.

Once I get my son down I’ll finish up too - got the ZJ conversion in and aligned. Feels nice and tight and so far I’m unable to reproduce any feeling of instability or wobbling .
