    What to do??

I have a stock 97 TJ. I have new 32x10.5x17 MT tires already. I want to lift it a little. I will not be climbing rocks or mudding. Just a toy. To keep a nice look with these tires what size lift should I go with w/o it looking funny?

    front end slightly lowered

I have a 3-4" suspension lift, body lift is 1.5", I am running 33X12.5 tires, tube fenders. There seems to be plenty of room to lower (stance) the front end about an inch. Would this be as simple as shaving body lift spacers at the correct angle towards the front? Appreciate any words of...

How Much Rust Is Too Much?

I have a completely stock 2000 Sahara and I would really like to put a small lift on it (even if it is just coil spring spacers) but I'm concerned about the rust. Looks like mostly surface rust but with the different moving components in the suspension I'm worried it'll cause problems. So how...

Who knew UPS delivered on Sunday!?

I got home from a family even today to find my complete 4" Currie kit sitting on my doorstep. According to the UPS tracking number it wasn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow! I've never known UPS to deliver on Sunday, so I'm assuming it must be a holiday thing.

    Replacing bumpstops

After a conversation about tire size and lift in the Facebook group it got me thinking about the way my TJ rides. It's very spongy in the rear when going over dips. It appears whoever did the spring lift (2.5 - 3" lift) didn't extend the bump stops. Can I extend the stops with spacers? Can I...

Does the TJ / LJ Rubicon have a factory lift over the other models?

A common question in the TJ / LJ circles is whether or not the Rubicon model has a stock lift versus the non-Rubicon models. The answer is NO, it does not. The only difference in height between the Rubicon model and non-Rubicon models is due to the fact that the Rubicon has slightly larger...
