You're in luck. A USPS medium will hold 68 lbs. worth of the zinc plated pennies which is right at 12,500 of them.

If my memory serves me correctly @5632 had an issue with skim and an engine swap? He sent his PCM in (twice) and paid by check. He told my technician he did not know what he was talking about to which my tech told him to fu@k a duck. I offered to return his check and he told me to keep it.

We have had some glitches, corrupt software, crappy chips from CHI-NA and other misc. screwups in the 3+ years of owning Wranglerfix. However, we handle issues that arise swiftly, promptly and that is what truly separates the men from the mice!

damn it boy! guess you can’t please everyone. i have no dog in this fight as my 06 is doing it’s thing. just hope you’re still doing what you do if and or when i need the fix. wish i could deliver all of those pennies just to see the look on the guys face!

I wanted to provide an update on the issues I was having with the PCM's I received from WranglerFix. Mark shipped a new unit to me on 8/30. Once I put it in I drove approx. 100 miles and while the check engine light did not come on I was getting a P0440 code. Because I needed to pass emissions I decided to take it to a local shop for a smoke test. Smoke test came back fine but they did find a rusted/loose/disconnected wire that was going from the PCM to the evap detection pump. Fixed the wire, drove around a bit and was able to pass emissions and no check engine light since. A big thanks to Mark and his team, I would highly recommend them if you are need of a PCM!

I ordered a pcm for my 05 LJ yesterday, cant wait to receive it. I didn't have transmission issues that the others have had, but I do have the O2 sensor thing and a few other issues. I got a good 18 years off my OEM PCM.

Received my Wranglerfix PCM within a couple of days of ordering (I like how the housing matches my Jeep ) I'm finally able to communicate with the PCM via scan tool, which was an issue with the old one, also gone are the O2 sensor codes. Now that I'm able to communicate with the PCM, I can diagnose and tackle an intermittent issue with my camshaft position sensor. Very happy with my Wranglerfix purchase.

I looked at a few part numbers with a buddy who has a 2006, and we determined that he had the latest version of the PCM which I believe ended in AC, which means his was likely replaced at some point as well because I’m pretty sure the factory was an AB model. Either way, his AC PCM went bad and he got the WranglerFix.

I don’t know what part number you have but even if it’s working okay for now, I would say you’re still at risk at some point to hve issues. I don’t know of any “good” PCMs from 05-06 that DON’T have the issues. It’s just some show them far more quickly than others.

An automatic '05-'06 TJ is more likely to have a PCM issue than a manual (the infamous first to second hard shift). The original PCM in my auto '06 failed and I was lucky enough to get a good OEM replacement that is still working fine after ~ 25,000 miles. That being said, I bought a Wrangler Fix PCM as a backup. You never know when Mark might decide to hang it up and retire to Margaritaville .

The 05=06 manual pcms have three main faults. o2 sensors showing bad when good, loss of gauges (usually fuel showing empty when full,) and stalling while driving. You can take a screwdriver handle and gently tap on the pcm at operating temperature to see if anything changes.

The last two letters at the end of the part number represent hexadecimal updates each time Chrysler software engineers make changes. All of our PCMs come flashed with the last software update.
