Do I really need to adjust JW Speaker headlights?

Hi I’m going to replace my headlights with the jw speaker 8700 , the installation instructions say they have to be adjusted after Install, do I really need to do that on a tj 97 ?
Isn’t the adjustready done if the current headlights are adjusted?

Not all headlight beam patterns are equal. Many LED headlights need to be adjusted downward a bit. That has been my experience with two different sets of LEDs. It’s easy to adjust though. Just make sure you use some kroil or liquid wrench a little while before on the adjustment screws, as they tend to seize up if not used in a while.

It's very easy to adjust them, but I will agree, new headlights tend to need to be adjusted. Especially since the beam pattern on those JW Speakers will be vastly different than your stock halogen headlights.

Adjust your headlights. Everyone will thank you by not being irritated as you drive by.

I recently installed a set of JW Speakers and didn’t adjust them. I measured the center of the beam before and after and could not really see much change. It passed inspection so it seems to be good. You may not need to do anything.

I had to adjust mine after I installed them, mine were tilted so far upwards that my high beams were lighting up the trees on the side of the road 10ft above the road and I kept getting flashed for my low beams blinding people.
