Getting to see you guys wheel in person was something else. It's one thing to watch videos, but seeing first hand what's capable is surreal
I scrubbed the Sand Hollow dust off of the rig yesterday. With the full doors on, you can hardly tell...
The body is bolted to the roll bar B-pillar at the tub rail - about 4-5 inches behind the door gap - and it did not move at all there. So, despite taking a big load, it supported the weight of the rig fairly well. Between where the body is bolted to the roll bar and the door gap, it moved just a bit. You can see in the pic below where the bend starts. It deformed a little over a quarter inch. As you can see on the curve at the bottom of the door, the armor normally protrudes past the door about 3/16". The door still functions fine, but it does take a little more pressure than normal to close it.
I'll throw my hydraulic ram in there and should be able to easily flatten it back out.
Also, since my armor is aluminum, no worries about it rusting. So, I'm in no hurry to address the paint. But, I will do so eventually. If I wind up having to paint a set of new half doors, I'll do it all at the same time.
Given what I did, it's not really bad at all.
The half door, however, looks to be beyond saving. The whole thing is bowed in just a bit, so replacing it seems to be the best option at the moment. But, since I only use those half doors when I wheel - and they function just fine as well - again, no hurry to replace them.
Here is the other damage. The guard did its job, and the light survived, but I did reach out to Blaine to see when his LED lights will be back in stock. Not sure yet what I will do about the plate mount.

I have one here I can grab more pictures of too if Mike's isn't what you're looking for. While dusty, I don't believe it has any damage. Similarly happy to send it over for free, it's in my bin that is getting cleared out.

Thanks for checking, Mike. Yeah, it does look just a little bit banged up. Since I'm not in a hurry, I may look for one a little more pristine. Still not dead set on replacing it, and I may go another direction.

While probably not helpful for your current doors, I do have a new set of these for you next set if you’re forward thinking.

One option that might work well since you run a spare, is the warrior products TJ license plate holder that curves around the corner.

I must have forgotten about clipping the corner at some point. That plastic piece is OEM plastic shavings from the first plate!
It's a little wet since I rinsed it off and didn't fully dry it.
