REAL WORLD COMPARISON: OEM Anti-Sway Bar w/ Disconnects vs. Antirock Off-Road Sway Bar vs. SwayLOC Dual Rate Anti Swaybar System

Just looked like there was a lot going on there. But I guess no more than a disconnected stock bar hanging right there.

It’s a little thicker than the AR and I’ve only ever gotten minor rubs full stuff and full lock. However it’s slight and slow that it’s not concerning (3.75” backspacing, 35x12.5 tire).

How often do we find ourself at full stuff and full lock turn?

I run a 33x12.5” width tire on a 15x8” wheel with 3.75” back spacing and I was thinking of setting my arms at about 12 to 13° up…
I am probably going to put a washer under the steering stops and just see how it goes…

Can the SwayLoc arms be swapped so the air or manual actuator are on the drivers side, or is there a cleance issue with the steering gear box bolts?

My guess is that the track bar pushing the axle to the passenger side, thereby creating additional room, is the reason all the bulkier bits of the SwayLoc are on that side.

I just received my new air actuated SwayLoc today to replace my Antirock. I figured there has to be a reason it's on the passenger side because it's not as convenient to access versus the driver side.

When you air down your tires and air them back up, do you make your way over to the one on the front passenger side?

Indeed!
I don't have an issue with it on that side, I was curious before installing.

Well, if you swapped the Swayloc the logo would be upside down - and that just would not work for me. ‘Cause ya know I’m all about the bling…

Seriously though, I just took a look at mine. I think the issue is the inner arm clearing the mounting bolts for the steering gear. After a quick measurement it looks like it would just clear, but my guess is that any side pressure on the arm would cause it to hit.
