Project "Frankentrailer"

I think this was my 10th time going all of the way through this thread. Out of all the trailers I've seen built this one is my favorite. Seriously great job, maybe someday I'll build one as well!

Please update us on the RTT, that is my next large Jeep purchase (Need to get it before Spring). Things slowing down since my pockets need some time to recover from recent mods ;). Any idea which one you are leaning towards more?

+1 agreed!

Nope, says it's for a JK. I don't have a JK. Lol! FYI, My trailer build cost about $800. That leaves quite a bit of RTT room.

Why do you think I said yours was cooler? That one could be tj-ified, but still not as cool as yours, but In a million years I couldn't build something as cool as yours, but I need one that will haul a quad anyway.

I have a kendon trailer for my street bikes, but it will haul a quad, but you can't sleep in or on it. So I can just haul a tent, but even that isn't is cool as yours. That trailer would be fun if I am not bringing a quad and I tj-ified it of course.

I would probably be in trouble though if I brought that home; I already have two trailers. and one of them hauls both quads and I can camp in, but I can't pull it with the Jeep.

You can never have too many trailers!

Is Franky going to get any love this spring or late winter? Or now with this good weather?

Sadly, Franky is collecting cobwebs right now. Most recent thing I've done was haul a load of firewood up to my daughter's place. I need to get back to work on it and get it painted proper. Still thinking about a RTT too.

Know which RTT you are going to go with yet? I've been looking on Craigslist list off and on with no luck. I know a guy that has one that he has probably has used 6 times and now he wants to get a small trailer. If he does get a trailer, I have first chance at his RTT.

Sweet! I'm leaning toward Tepui since they are in Santa Cruz. I can go to their facility and actually rent one for a weekend and test it out to see if I like it. I thought that was a neat feature. I also will need a custom annex to house the dogs at night, vs. leaving them in the back of the jeep or putting up a tent dedicated for them.
