And Metalcloak has the CTI trailer there
Hey now. The CTI trailer would be a fun welcomed addition and you know it. I'll even take some bump out so I can get a better score. Who needs to turn anyways.

I fear the list I posted with all the jeeps spec's is going to make you go insane with your next build.

Don’t tell MrBlaine

Yep, that entire comment was just me being facetious because I know how much Blaine loves it ;)

Or I'll just buy one that's already built. Trust me, I've been looking :)

I think you have discovered the true purpose of the list 🤫

This looks like an interesting trip, put me down, I need a new shirt.
Am supposed to be going to Moab this year, will see how the lock down affects the trip.
Might need a few mods to keep up with you guys though.
Based on your profile, it looks like all you have to do is figure out where to stay. 😉

I’m looking at both TJs and LJs. I am focusing more around color. I really want a red one with half doors.

I’d like to keep it mild, but I’m not sure how well I can stick to that, as owning these things are such a temptation to always go bigger.

I've always wanted to build an extremely capable TJ on 32's or 33's. Just stay away from the 35's temptation and you'll be fine. Tummy tuck, 33's, 3" lift + 1.25" BL, rock sliders, gas tank skid, bumpers, winch, etc... You can build it without losing it like last time  .

Escalator is a fun obstacle but I've bypassed it both times I've run Hells. You have to get the line right within about 6 inches or you're in for no fun. First time I was in Moab I saw a Cherokee miss the line by about a foot:

Wish I could get back out to Moab sometime soon, but it is just so far now that I'm in Chicago. From where I lived in Wyoming, it was about an 8 hour drive. I love Moab the town as well as the wheeling.

Hopefully thats the easy part, would like to do a body lift, MML, cable shift and perhaps go to 35's, before then.
Will be interesting to see how this trip expands and grows.
Any plans for a Rubicrawler?

He missed it by more like 2 feet.

By popular demand, let's start planning a Moab 2021 adventure. Last year a group of us, most of which had never met in person, gathered at the Off-roading Mecca which we call Moab. We went the week after Easter Jeep Safari and even though it rained a few times and was a bit chilly a few of the days, it really seemed like the perfect time to go.

The point of this thread isn't to plan a day by day schedule of trails to run but instead set a time when a group of us will be in the same area. People can choose to group up with others or go their own way. Of course, a complete group run would be nice to do.

The time frame talked about the most seems to be when the car show starts after Easter Jeep Safari. From what I've seen from past events they pick the last weekend of the month of April. This would put the tentative date range between April 24th - May 1st. (let's hammer this out)

That gives us all 12 months to get our rigs up to the task. @Chris I expect you to own a jeep by then and make the journey.

My goal is to spend a set aside a week for the trip which would likely involve 2 travel days. (roughly 14hrs for me)

Trip requirements: None. Wheel at your own pace. I have no doubt that any trail you'd want to run is likely on someone else's list as well.

Red jeeps took the crown last time so let's try to bring in some more colors.

@Alex01 are we calling these dates firm?

@CaliSteve looks like a few of us Southern California people plan to go, I think a convoy is in order!

I'm personally looking into booking those dates. They seem as good as any. 🤷‍♂️
Cool. Moab isn’t a big town so I plan to book a place soon, like next week soon 😂

Any fly anglers in the group that want to take a day or two to fish bring your kit. I know some fun honey holes there!

I'll likely be renting one of the condos south of town with my FIL again. Those places are nice and have 2 car garage's.
