If TJ Fest begins on April 24, does that mean we’re running trails on the 24th? Or is that an arrival date where we might have a meet and greet, check out my bad ass TJ, et al?! 😎
.Agreed there should be some sort of hard date/location for the first group run. Also, maybe a mid-week get together (or run) that everyone will be able to attend, regardless of travel dates.
I realize this may be hard to organize till there's an official headcount.

I'm assuming as we get closer there will be some sort of organization around the runs... places/times to meet each day etc, especially for those of us who've never been there. Without something like that I may as well cancel as I have no idea where to go :)

Need to come up with a list of trails people want to run.

Fins-N-Things would be good for a full TJ Fest run. It’s 2-4 hours, there are bypasses at times, and achievable by 31’s.

It’s also a great one for people new to Moab wheeling or to let the significant other try it out.

Hey, Moab's got tree-like things.

As an PA wheeler I am not going to know what to do with 1) Traction 2) No Mud and 3) No trees.
You’ll be fine, and you’ll figure out the driving style, but a hint is that when you’re going over or up a rocky obstacle, let the Jeep do most of the work. I don’t even use the gas unless I’m going up something steep. This gives you much more control.

Holly Fowler recently was interviewed on a Jeep podcast based here. They were talking about how the rocks are like sandpaper out there. She was raving about Sand Hollow for wheeling.

If I had 43” sticky tires I would too.
