These look great! I just got some stock gladiator wheels to put on my completely stock TJ and the tires are 245/75/r17 do y’all think they will fit without rubbing? I will have the adapter/spacers on there and don’t do any type of off roading. Thanks!
not a fan of newer jeep wheels pn a tj but, these are a good fit for the tj. congrats. on the score!
I plan on putting my gladiator wheels on my 05 TJ when I buy a set of Rubicon take offs next month. My Sport S Max Tow wheels look very similar to the 05 Moab wheels.

the 5x4.5 to 5x5 spacers you buy come with the 5 new lug nuts required. You still need your old ones also to fasten the adaptors first
Cheapest source is gonna be Ebay for all of them but I got a 4 pack off Amazon, and then a single off Ebay for the spare

Yes but the spacers I ordered had wheel studs that are 1/2” diameter and will not work with newer jeep rims.

I think this was posted earlier...but this thread discusses putting different rims and tires on from JL's etc. Using 1/2x20 larger lug nuts and spacers so they are secure...

Normally, the open ended lug nuts that come with an adapter are used to hold the adapter on.
Then use the original closed end lug nuts for the wheels. You can't use the original (longer) closed end nuts to hold the adapter on.
However, the original lug nuts will not seat properly on JL wheels.
I recently picked up a 2001 TJ and it already has the 5x4.5 to 5x5 1.25” adapters and some 18” Sahara wheels from I believe was a JK based on my research. I was researching and window shopping 15” wheels and 33x12.50 tires in the original 4.5” bolt pattern but man, tire selections are getting thinner and thinner and the prices aren’t any different from 17’s. Anyways, I have a 4.25” Zone Off-road Combo lift on there and am ready to get new shoes. I found a set of gladiator take-offs with the 285/70r17 Falken MTs. I’m curious about the backspacing on those stock gladiator wheels and whether I’d have rubbing on full lock. Also, I have no idea what thread these spacers have, but I do know the lug nuts currently on there are the open ended lug nuts. So, my other question or thing I’ll need to figure out is if I’ll need new adapters to accommodate the gladiator lug sizes
