You should have somewhat of a small gap. Heres a picture of mine, when I cycle the suspension it moves just about an inch, mine is almost long too at 19".

Do not drive.
Unbolt that drive shaft from the diff and find out how much travel it has. It should compress a few inches from where it is currently.
Right now it looks way too long. If you drive it, you are running the very real risk of shoving the SYE into the transfer case.
Agreed. DS looks too long if that is ride height. Put the angle finder on the ds tube, then put it on one of the 2 flats on the back of the diff pumpkin.

The angle finder needs to stay in line with the drive shaft. Stop turning it.
Take your pinion angle from here, on the back of the differential.

all of the driveshafts on quadratec say they are 16inches long so if i did order the toms woods one it would be the same size
Quadratech doesn't make drive shafts. Tom Wood, Adam's, or your local guy will ask you to take some measurements and will cut a driveshaft that will fit.
Tom wood’s shafts are custom length. You send him a length and he sends you a driveshaft. From what I can tell, that driveshaft has legitimately no travel left for the suspension to compress. Driving that Jeep at almost any speed is asking for damage to the transfer case and possibly the whole driveline. I wouldn’t risk driving anywhere right now.
Angle is off quite a bit, but I'd definitely return that driveshaft and measure as shown and get the right length.
