Wizard Recovery Gear

It’s kilt, something my knobby kneed for bears wear with pride despite living surprisingly near the Arctic circle.

Put me down for a couple when they come in. That’s soft shackles not kilts.

WTF is wrong with kilts?

Just ordered shackles and st fairlead. Don't think I even pick a color. Doesn't matter, and gets here when it gets here...Thanks Blaine.

holy sh*t I'm still IN! What colors?

I'm a big fan of function and in point of fact that will always be my first consideration when delivering a product. So, just think of the Model T and understand that you can have any color you want as long as it is black. The reason for black is I want to protect the base metal which is 6061-T6 so they need to be anodized. I need that to be tough so it is hard anodizing and I can NOT have it fade in the sun and black UV resistant is the only one that doesn't fade or change color. Black it is.

As I delete my TRE cart… are you able to share ~pricing or too soon?

Previous to the anodizing bill on the fairleads, I would have had a good idea. With how far they bent me over to do the UV Black, I'm not going to even try to guess since it came in at least twice as high as it should have. 15 bucks each for the ST is ridiculous.

Will you sell ropes also?

I know the rope people that is very commonly used. I'm on the fence currently but I can easily make it happen. That is an area where I struggle with color a bunch though. It is hard to say you want bright colors when we use steel cable in a silver gray with regularity. I do like the safety aspect of the bright colors but I'm very partial to how the dark gray looks spooled up on winches.

It won't take much to convince me they are a good idea.

I just sent you an email for ten pairs, please put other orders before mine as I have several already. And if you run short on one color vs. another feel free to balance out how you like. These will be used as giveaways.

Weren't you supposed to call first so I could work out a way to fuck you a little less?

I've long told myself that when I replace my aging grey synthetic rope, I want a bright orange or bright red for the sake of visibility.
