If you have any last minute things to button up, head up here with Alex on the 16th and we'll knock em out.

Looking great Tom. I love that TT, wish I had one on my girl, don't we all...

Well, there is only so many hours in a day, lol! What brakes are you getting? BBK? or just BMB pads and rotors?

Haha 😆 I have the super 16. I’ll probably get it installed locally. Maybe I can use you to help with the angles and doing bump stop though on the 16th if you think we’ll have time

Well if both lifts are free at the shop we can probably pull that off.

I can knock out the brakes so take that off the list. It's the 16" BBK. Tom needs help with angles and bumps. The rear bumps will probably be the same since shocks will be the limiting factor and I would bet the front needs around 2-2.5". My eyeballs tell me the rear needs the uppers lengthened a bit but on the front I'm lost since I'm not sure how to properly measure castor.

Pinion angle will be the determining factor and caster will be where it will be provided no ds vibes up front. Refresh my memory, are you installing Savvy's TT on his rig? You'll have to get the pinion angles vibe free before he can drive all the way up here. We can put an angle finder on the top ball joint and get a relative idea where caster is. Has the front lower spring perch been drilled/tapped yet for bumps? We can do washers and longer bolts for the rear upper bumps, or drill/tap the lower perch.

Front has been drilled, wasn’t tapped, has a hex cap bolt in there right now.

I do have some bumps on there currently. They’ll need to be cut/adjusted/extended for the 35s

For the BBK, you'll need an angle grinder with a flap disc to grind down the circumference of the unit bearings so they will fit in the rotor hat. No bigger, just 10 minutes on a grinder will do it. If he has factory front brake hoses, you also have to cut off the tang on the banjo fitting. also no biggie, just FYI.

@tomtaylz correct me if I'm wrong but I believe we installed 2" bumps extensions in the F/R.

Yes, I am doing the TT on his jeep right now. The tuck is complete but I still need to finish up the oil pan skid tonight. (need to grind away a bit of material off the driver side brace in order to clear the bolts that attach to the frame.) I got the pumps relocated yesterday and just need a new rear airline to finish it up. He also has a new savvy shifter cable installed. It's going to be quite the transformation from the last time you saw it.

Tom ordered new extended brake lines so we will see what needs to be done to those.

@bobthetj03 any tips on adjusting the currie upper control arms besides a pipe wrench? I don't think tom wants his PC getting all messed up.

Once the jamb nuts are loose you should be able to turn the sleeves by hand. If you can't that means one of them is in a bind. I typically adjust one side until it gets hard to turn, then go to the other arm and turn it. Try to keep it to where both arms are turnable by hand. That should keep them out of bind and dang close to the same length.

Not the best pictures, I was a bit space constrained but rockers back from the powdercoater and installed and painted flares are back on

Took her for a test drive, a lot of noise I think there’s still some contact from the transfer case from the tummy tuck, so Uber to get home hah.

That's one good looking jeep. The black one in the garage isn't too bad either.
